About ERO Photography
I am a Canberra based amatuer photographer specialising in Black and White and Sepia photographs.
I work only in natural light with minimal editing. I don't ever feel the need to over-edit or photoshop my work as I find beauty in what is right in front of me. ERO Photography is not so much about perfecting and beautifying an image, but more about seeing the boldness and beauty in what is naturally there.

Why Black and White?
A majority of my photographs are in black and white. I love the bold look and I find it creates more of a statement. I feel as though there is a texture and feel of black and white photos that cannot be captured in colour photos.
My photos, being in black and white, turn seemingly ordinary photos into works of art.

Creative History
Having been a creative person for the majority of my life, I have recently found a new love in photography.
Growing up, I have dabbled in most types of art. I am a published poet and have written more then enough short stories for a compilation (a project in the works). I am an avid painter and drawer, from sketching to cartooning to tattoo designs and children's illustrations. I have worked in jewellery making - using many different materials. Sculpting and wood/soap carving have also been a favourite past time.
From working in the creative arts for so long, and working with so many different types of art, I have truely developed an eye for detail. An eye for artistic detail. Because photography is somewhat new to me, I find myself experimenting with it a lot, and I have a strong desire to share my work as well.
I have plans to publish my photography (along with some poetry to go with it) in a coffee table book.
